Publish a Pinegrow site to Pagehaus

Pinegrow edits real HTML and CSS files in a folder on your computer. It doesn't upload them itself, by design, so you publish with an SFTP program. That's a good match for Pagehaus: what's in your folder is exactly what goes online.

1. Create your site on Pagehaus

Create a free site if you haven't yet. Its name is your SFTP username, and it'll be live at https://yoursite.pagehaus.site/.

2. Connect an SFTP program

Use any SFTP program, with these details:

Protocol
SFTP
Host
sftp.pagehaus.app
Port
2022
Username
yoursite
Password
your Pagehaus password

Step-by-step guides: FileZilla, Cyberduck, WinSCP.

3. Upload your project folder

Upload the contents of your Pinegrow project folder (your index.html, other pages, and the CSS, image and font folders) into the top folder of your site, keeping the same structure. Pinegrow's links are relative, so they keep working. Files Pinegrow keeps for itself, such as backups, don't need uploading.

Keeping it in sync

After the first upload, you only need to send what changed:

Prefer the browser? Zip your project folder and use Upload zip in your site's files.

Contact forms

Set your form's action to /_form/contact and its method to post, and messages are emailed to you, with no PHP. Add a hidden field _redirect with the value /thanks.html for your own thank-you page. More in contact forms.

Shared headers

Pinegrow can keep a header and footer in sync across pages while you design, writing them into each page, so you don't need Server Side Includes for that. If you'd rather use includes, Pinegrow shows the <!--#include --> line instead of the header while you design; the full page appears once it's on Pagehaus.

Your own domain

On a Personal or Pro plan, add the domain under your site's Domains tab and set the DNS records it shows (custom domains guide).

Checked October 2026: Pinegrow has no built-in upload, as its team explains on the Pinegrow forum.
