Terms of Service
Last updated 8 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Code Maker Inc. (“we”, “us”), 92 Sussex Ave, Toronto, ON M5S 1K2, Canada, which operates Pagehaus (the “Service”) at pagehaus.app. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Pagehaus for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
1. The Service
Pagehaus hosts static websites: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and other files you upload through the dashboard or SFTP, with Server Side Includes, a contact-form handler and, on paid plans, custom domains. Each site gets an address at pagehaus.site. We may change or improve features; if we remove something important to paid plans, we'll tell you in advance.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, give a working email address, and confirm it.
- Keep your password and SFTP credentials safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including through the extra SFTP logins you create.
- One person or organisation may hold several accounts only for genuinely separate purposes, not to get around plan limits.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, transmit and display your content only as needed to run the Service (for example, serving your pages, making backups, and scanning files for malware). You confirm you have the rights to publish everything you upload.
You are responsible for your sites, including any personal data your visitors send through your forms. For that data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, only to provide the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Pagehaus to host, send or link to:
- phishing pages or anything that imitates another organisation to collect logins, payment or personal details;
- malware, or downloads designed to harm devices or data;
- spam, or pages built to promote spam;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- content that is illegal in Canada or in the European Union, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
- content that harasses or threatens people or incites violence.
You also may not try to break into or disrupt the Service or other users' sites, get around plan limits, or use contact forms to collect passwords or payment card numbers. The Free plan doesn't allow programs and installers (such as .exe, .apk or .msi files).
We scan uploaded files for malware and check pages for signs of phishing. Files flagged as malware are removed and kept in quarantine for 30 days. Anyone can report a site at pagehaus.app/report.
5. Plans, limits and payment
| Plan | Price | Sites | Storage | Traffic / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 1 | 250 MB | 20 GB |
| Personal | US$4 / month | 3 | 5 GB | 200 GB |
| Pro | US$10 / month | 10 | 25 GB | 1 TB |
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added where required.
- You can change plan or cancel at any time under “Manage billing”. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; we don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails we keep your plan while Stripe retries. If it still can't be collected, your account moves to the Free plan: nothing is deleted, but custom domains, extra SFTP logins and sites beyond the Free limit are paused until you upgrade again.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of your plan.
- Limits are per account. We email you at 80% and 100% of your monthly traffic. Sites that use far more than their plan (several times the monthly traffic) may be paused until the next month or until you upgrade.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend a site or account, with or without notice, if it breaks these terms, puts the Service or others at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can still reach your files while a site is suspended, unless the law prevents it.
You can stop using Pagehaus and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@pagehaus.app. Accounts whose email address is never confirmed may be deactivated.
7. Availability and backups
We work to keep Pagehaus running and make nightly backups, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that backups will always be available. Keep your own copy of your site.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or CA$50 if you use a free plan). We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.
9. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you published or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email account holders at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Pagehaus after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of Toronto, Ontario. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring proceedings there.
