Pagehaus vs Neocities
Both are homes for hand-made websites. Neocities is a community with generous limits; Pagehaus is plain hosting with the things a small site often needs: SFTP, contact forms, shared headers and your own domain.

Checked October 2026 against Neocities' plans and ours.
Choose Neocities if
- you want to be part of a community of personal sites, with followers and a profile;
- your site is big (lots of images or audio) and you want the most room for $5;
- you don't need a contact form, or you're happy to use a separate form service.
Choose Pagehaus if
- you want your own domain for a little less, or a few sites under one account;
- you like uploading with FileZilla or another SFTP program;
- you need a contact form that just works, or want one header shared by every page without JavaScript;
- you'd like an AI assistant such as Claude to edit and publish your site for you.
